Instructor

Christopher Benjamin M.Ed & CSCS

Christopher Benjamin is a veteran of the classroom for over 20 years. Currently, he is teaching 8th-grade science in Agawam, Massachusetts. He completed his undergraduate work in Psychology and Exercise Science at Springfield College. While at Springfield, he also received his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist designation from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has also coached students and athletes ranging from middle school to the NFL and NHL. "Coach Benj" as he is known to his students and athletes, loves teaching, coaching, and learning. Learning about the human body and how to manipulate it to become an optimal machine has been a passion of his. Constantly reading, attending clinics, taking continuing education classes, and talking to the elite educators in the fields of Mindfulness, Nutrition, and Movement Science has led to the creation of the Teacher's Toolbox. He engaged his audience as we discussed where stress comes from and how to manage it personally and professionally.
